Microneedling treats age spots, blackheads, hyper-pigmentation (melasma), acne spots and scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and improves the appearance of dull, “tired-looking” skin. It can be used on the face, neck, décolleté’, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and neck—the areas that often reveal the most tell-tale signs of aging and sun damage.

Clients can see a “glow” to their skin as soon as the procedure is finished, and visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Results continue to improve up to six months after the treatment. Some clients only require a single treatment in one visit just once a year to achieve noticeable results. However, for optimum results, we recommend that clients receive a series of two to three treatments space six to eight weeks apart for best results. For patients with significant skincare concerns, such as deep acne scars, it is recommended to receive six to eight sessions at six-week intervals.

We use the Eclipse Micro-Pen Elite for all our microneedling services - one of a few Health Canada approved microneedling devices

What you can expect

We take the time to carefully numb the area to be microneedled - so you will experience very little to no discomfort during the procedure.

There will be redness and swelling immediately after the procedure - which will largely subside within 12-36 hours. Most clients have no difficulty returning to work / regular activities within 12 hours.

No swimming / heavy sweating / makeup for at least 24 hours following microneedling.

We recommend avoiding any “active” skincare for 3 days - including alcohol based toners, retinols, acne products, AHA/BHA, vit C, etc.
